This white poison may have a shady history: JAMA Internal Medicine and the New York Times recently reported that in the 1960’s, the Sugar Research Foundation (SRF), a trade group known today as the Sugar Association, paid Harvard scientists to publish a review downplaying evidence associating this white poison with heart disease. Hi! This is your Asheville Chiropractor, Dr. Nicole Lindsey! I love Italy!!! Especially the food! My favorite memory was getting lost in Tuscany and finding an Olive Oil Factory. The sweet Italian couple could not speak a lick of English (thank god for my Italian lessons before the trip ;-)) and invited us into their home. They gave us a tour of the factory, gave us samples of olive oil, then fed us meats, cheeses and homemade wine. We sat at their kitchen table having an Italian/English conversation for 2 hours.
