Why Chiropractic Care?

Why Chiropractic Care?

When your spine is properly aligned, you have normal range of motion and your
spine is seven times stronger!

Chiropractic is a profession that focuses on the spine and joints of the body. In a healthy
body, the 24 movable bones of the spine are in proper alignment. This proper alignment allows
for normal range of motion in all the joints and makes the human spine seven times stronger.
Running through the spinal column is the central nervous system, which is the brain and spinal
cord. The brain is the bodies hard drive and communicates to all tissue, cells and organs of the
body through the nerves. This connection between the brain and the body is what dictates the
health of the human body. Often times the bones will become misaligned due to injury, poor
posture, chemicals and stress. When the bones are misaligned, the muscles surrounding that
area tighten up, restrict blood flow, while impairing range of motion and causing pain. In
addition, the nerves will get pressed upon and this will reduce the nerve impulse flowing through
the nerves. Depending on what nerve is pressed and where that nerve goes will determine what
the symptom is in the body.

A Chiropractor will find these areas that are misaligned, remove the pressure by giving a hands on adjustment and rehab the surrounding tissue to support the improved alignment. This adjustment restores brain to body connection, reducing pain and allowing the body to heal itself.

What Are The Chiropractic Benefits?

Chiropractic is a natural approach to helping the body heal. Chiropractic can help patients
suffering with headaches, neck pain, low back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, TMJ, foot pain,
digestion issues, infertility, scoliosis, ear infections, asthma, blood pressure and maintaining a
healthy pregnancy.

In addition to increasing range of motion and improving mobility, most patients will gain a
newfound awareness to their body and health. Through chiropractic care, our patients become
more connected with their bodies needs and learn how to take control of their health. This
allows the patient to not only prevent injuries but set new goals and participate in activities and
hobbies that they once thought were impossible.

One of the greatest benefits of chiropractic care is that the need for medication and surgery is
greatly reduced. More and more patients are looking for alternative ways to resolve an issue
and chiropractic offers that and more!
